Review of Even Cowgirls Get the Blues (1994) by Private U — 04 Jan 2009
Ok, so this isn't exactly the most sensible movie but for being a Tom Robbins book first and having a Stellar cast I want to give it 5. It is funny and there is a good message in this film (i feel more sorry for those deformed by society) but I think a lot got lost between the book and the screen.
Van Sant may not have been the best choice for director...but oh well, i'm still waiting for a Jitterbug Perfume film.
