Expectations: 7/10.

Reality 8/10.

I didn't have high hopes for this movie, since I didn't expect the MCU to take a turn like this for phase 4, but the scope and vastness of the movie truly takes the next step for the marvel universe. I only had a basic understanding of the comics prior to watching this, so I did some quick skimming before watching the film. To put simply, the storyline was well put, even though the back-and-forth pacing between timelines could've been exhausting if it kept going any further. CGI was well polished, and I must say, the Celestials looked really well done and visualized. Of course, Marvel always had to put in some comedy here and there, which wasn't excessive and was good. I know everyone has their own respectful opinions, but to me, this movie is a good example of why you shouldn't always (and probably never) trust critic reviews, since they are typically picky when it comes to films involving specific cinematic universes.
