Review of Eternals (2021) by Neefman — 14 Nov 2021
It was a good movie - not great, but VERY good. I wanted it to keep going, but it ended and I didn't even notice how long it was. There are some plot issues (The Deviants fall into classic MCU "Useless Bad Guys" cliche, among a few others), but in spite of that I was entertained and happy at the conclusion of the movie.
It's over the head of some MCU fans, but I read the comics for years and years and ate everything that was spoon-fed to me up. Shang Chi was better, but this was a solid entry in the MCU. B+ grade (Shang Chi A-.
Thor 2 is a D just to establish some critic credibility. Age of Ultron was weak too, by the way).
