What a beautiful movie. This is Jim Carey at his best. His performance is so real and emotionally driven, it's hard to not like him. Kate Winslet is also very good and I thought she also gave a very real performance.
The movie is very unique, I've never seen anything like it. I can't even think of a movie that even remotely resembles it. It's original, innovative, and extremely engaging.
The directing is very good too. It fits perfectly with the unique script and perfectly captures the tone of the script.
With it's near perfect performances and chemistry between Carey and Winslet, unique story telling, and fantastic directing, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is a movie that will stick with you for years to come.
