Review of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982) by Mark L — 30 Apr 2014

Watched again for the first time in a while, and realized one of the reasons I loved it so much was that I was like Elliot. I was the middle child, my older brother and his friends picked on me, and I wanted a friend.

This is one of the main movies that I can not see how a person cannot like this. It needs to be seen by kids when their parents are with them (I was scared out of my mind from the astronauts when I was a kid). It is a family movie through and through.

While "Gandhi" won best picture that year, and is a great movie, it won't live on the way this will.

This movie is magic all over.
