Review of Escape from Tomorrow (2013) by Michael C — 19 Sep 2017

I'll be honest with you...I did not get this movie. None of it.

The story of how it was filmed was quite interesting, however, the movie itself was long and tedious. It's like a cross between an art movie and a horror movie, without quite managing to be either. The plot seems to have been extracted and all traces of story ignored in favour of hints that go nowhere and countless loose ends. I watched to the end in the hopes of finding out what was going on, maybe the chance of an explanation. That "OH I SEE!" moment.

Sadly, that never happened and I still have no idea what it was all about.
