A couple of Apes escape back to 1970's earth in a way not really adequately explained, then act like a couple of assholes from the get go. Fortunately Ricardo Montalban shows up to smarten them up.
Also the irony of have Dr. Forbin concerned for earth and wanting the apes killed, only to create that bastard computer... priceless!
