Fun entry in the menangerie of Ape movies. Vera and Cornelius somehow "escape" Earth and wind up on... earth, 2000 years in the past, and naturally everyone is amazed. Except the Gummint, dammit! They must be destroyed! Oh, and Vera is pregnant! Dammit again! They're just looking to start the whole thing over again! The whole thing is fun, actually.
Nice little twist at the end, that I somehow don't remember. The fact that I don't remember anything else that happens beyond this movie has pretty much proven to me that this was the peak before the slippery slope.
