Review of Escape from the Planet of the Apes (1971) by David B — 20 Sep 2011
Hard to quite express properly, much as it is great to see Cornelius and Zira again, its kind of weird when considered a sequel to the original planet of the apes films. Much more obvious social commentary about how man is bad, but does have good characters, an okay plot and some genuine good humour, not to mention a hugely depressing ending.
