Review of Escape from the Planet of the Apes (1971) by Matthew V — 11 Feb 2010
This is the third entry in the Planet of the Apes series and by far one of the best. I have to say it's almost better than the first entry and it's definetly better than the second entry. This third adventure featuring the apes not only brings you one of the best stories in history, but is the book of knowledge in this 'Apes' series.
What I mean by that is it explains how the apes came to rule the planet earth. The surprises are shocking and the action exciting. Once again the make-up is outstanding. I can't wait to see how the story comes full circle.
