To all you stick in the mud critics, you are not seeing this from a kids perspective. It has all the fun colorful animation that we all love with a positive storyline that would encourage kids to stay true to who they are.
Lighten up and maybe learn from it. Its not meant to be so deep and meaningful that kids don't get it. I really liked it.
