Review of Escape from L.A. (1996) by Mikael N — 12 Jul 2009
Not as powerful a film as Escape From New York but if you waited patiently for 15 years for Snake Plissken's return to the big screen like I did, then this film was a nice campy action film. This time around its the President's daughter who must be located by Snake and he only has about half the time to do it in compared to the first film.
This is not a bad film but its missing that Carpenter creepiness of his earlier films and alot has to do with his wonderful musical scores.
