Review of Escape from Alcatraz (1979) by Corey N — 13 May 2009
This is a great prison movie. Apparently based on a true story. Not sure how accurate it is though. Clint Eastwood is excellent in this. Plays the tough S.O.B to a tee. Has a decent supporting cast. With a great story and interesting characters makes this a fun film.
My second favorite prison based film behind Shawshank Redemption.
