Clint Eastwood and Don Siegel's final collaboration offers a fierce and fascinating dramatisation of one of the most famous escape attempts of all time. The movie is exquisitely shot and wonderfully gritty, carried along nicely by Eastwood's engaging lead performance and featuring plenty of interesting characters.
Tense, bold and pleasantly entertaining, this brawny prison break flick is a worthwhile watch for any Eastwood fan.
