Review of Escaflowne: The Movie (2000) by Katt B — 12 Mar 2006

I loved this movie! But here in Canada, they aired the series a looong time ago... and I was only about 4 or 5 so I wasn't into the whole robot thing (I thought that Escaflowne was all about robots, like the Gundam series') and prefered my Dragon Ball Z.

But when I rented this movie, I fell in love with it. Now, I'm dying to see the series because the movie was a work of art. Though short and some times hard to follow, you have to appreaciate that these people made a 96 minute movie about a 26 episode series.

The music was beautiful and probably the best anime music I've ever heard (so far).
