Review of Escaflowne: The Movie (2000) by Manuel A — 14 Aug 2008
They took a horrible TV series and made it tolerable. The set up for the main character was nice, but after that every thing seemed super rushed. It seems like a world with a lot of potential, but we're not given the time to fall in love with it before suddenly its very existence is threatened.
Characters change very quickly too to fit the time frame of the movie.
