Review of Eros (2004) by Ryan L — 24 Aug 2009
This film is only getting as generous of a review from me because Wong Kar-Wai's "The Hand" was stunning and brilliant. Well crafted, well acted, beautifully shot and intriguing to watch, this was easily the highlight of the three films.
On the other hand, Soderbergh's was odd, and although somewhat intriguing, ultimately it feel flat for me and don't even get me started on Antonioni's piece. I don't even know what that one was about or what the point was.
Basically, a complete waste of time. So, if it were up to me, I'd say just say save yourself some time and watch "The Hand" and then skip the rest, you'll thank me for it after.
