Review of Eraserhead (1977) by Ed F — 23 May 2010
Visually gorgeous and narratively baffling, David Lynch's first feature set the benchmark for the rest of his cinema, with striking imagery and a challenging plot (if there even is one). What makes this so remarkable is the black and white, which adds to the eerie visual feast in a film which is more about the experience than any typical narrative structure.
