Review of Eraserhead (1977) by Patrick B — 10 Jan 2011
I had no idea what was going on for most of the movie, but even so, this movie has to be one of David Lynch's most disturbing films. Certain images from this film will probably be engrained in my head for the rest of my life.
It's like you're watching someone's nightmare. Some people interpret that this film symbolizes Henry Spencer's fear of parenting, and after thinking about the film a bit, I can see how that makes sense.
Overall, this movie is probably one of the strangest movies I've ever seen. It's disturbing as hell, and definitely not for everybody. If you're a fan of David Lynch, however, you can't miss it.
