Review of Eraserhead (1977) by David O — 26 Jan 2012
Lynch's post-modern urban wasteland essentially identifies every problem facing a newfound father, and then takes each problem to its limits (or lack thereof).
The embellishment/evolution of all that is seemingly mundane creates nothing less than a genuinely surreal experience. This movie, despite its unpleasantness, is truly one of kind.
