Review of Eraserhead (1977) by Oscar S — 26 Jun 2012
It accomplished exactly what it was meant to.
We generally use the word "disturbing" to describe this film, but I feel that word is only used because there is not yet an understanding of all the different intersecting emotions you "endure" through out this upsetting little journey. your left with a certain understanding about things you may have yet to understand. it questions your morality and ethics while bending them to fit the need of our frightened friend. in the end, you dont know weather to laugh, cry, or cringe. a truely haunting journey.
