Review of Eraserhead (1977) by Samuel H — 22 Sep 2014

I'm sorry world, Eraserhead sucks. Is it original? sure. Are the visuals mesmerizing and disturbing? Sure. BUT, the plot is horrible, it moves slower than your grandmother, and it is honestly just disgusting.

There's no redeeming element to the plot in the movie. It is almost entirely based on shock value. It's just a movie by a strange man who is self indulging in his strange fantasies a little too much.

Also, I'm cool with it being an open to interpretation story, but sorry who wants to interpret this. Is it about the problems of parenthood, or general disillusion with the world, or a public service announcement about unplanned pregnancy? WHO CARES.

DEAR 55,167 users, you did not enjoy this movie. It was not an easy watch. Just because the critics said they liked it doesn't me you need to say the same. Grow a pair and make your own decisions.
