Review of Eraserhead (1977) by Mandy L — 02 Feb 2010
O.k. it's regarded as a masterpiece but that doesn't really mean anything to me... Yes, it's atmospheric, dystopian maybe, but in a very cheap way. Yes, it's (pseudo)symbolic and disgusting but without really a deep reason (a scene depicts a woman with overpuffed cheeks dancing while treading over monstrous embryos.
..) . In fact, I laughed many times while watching, especially when the protagonist's head fell down and... well, enough said for you'll miss the fun :P :P.
