Review of Equilibrium (2002) by Tom H — 10 Apr 2011
It's the paint-by-number ladybird edition of 1984, but some of the action is pretty cool, and I can't actually fault the performances. Except Taye Diggs, he wouldn't stop smiling. It was like he didn't read the script, why did we sacrifice Sean Bean for this guy? Eh, it's fun enough.
Although black jackets and motorcycle helmets for fascist police was played out when Michael Jackson did it in Moonwalker, how can we take it seriously here?
