You know what it's like. Saturday night. Not a lot available On Demand. and then you come across a sci-fi movie you haven't seen. Wow, it's got Christian Bale and Emily Watson and a "cult classic" status. Flixster users like it and critics don't - that means it'll be lowbrow fun, right?
W-R-O-N-GGGGGGGGGG.
Wow. This is a terrible film. A couple of half interesting ideas dressed up as the Matrix with a hint of clerical overtones in the costumery. And Christian Bale and Sean Bean are "Grammaton Clerics, who are trained in the deadly martial art of gun kata".
For some reason the GF liked it.
