Review of Equilibrium (2002) by Peter B — 01 Sep 2012
The obvious problem with this film is the fact that the supposedly emotionless characters show obvious signs of emotion throughout the entire story⦠I attempted to forgive that flaw by telling myself, "Their emotions are just suppressed - not gone.
They still have intelligence and a sense of duty, which gives them motivationâ¦" That helped me look past a lot of the plotholes, but there were still some pretty large inconsistencies I couldn't quite ignore.
The climax of the film was particularly problematic.
