Review of Equilibrium (2002) by David S — 04 Mar 2015

Some great action scenes that remind you of 'The Matrix' and an interesting idea but the film has no real heart (ironic considering the concept). This is mostly down to a blank performance from Bale.

He doesn't really connect with the role and therefore doesn't convince. He'd perfect this with Batman. It all seems a bit rushed towards the end but Bean and Watson bring some class and it's mindless fun (dressed up to be art).
