Review of Epic (2013) by Rox22 — 10 Mar 2014
Basically this is Ferngully meets Lord of the Rings, kinda. There really is nothing that special in this movie. Animation is OK, Voice acting is OK (Collin Farrel kinda sticking out.) Script and plot are nothing we haven't seen before.
Overall:
Really nothing special. The movie is OK and does have a few good moment, but on the whole it really isn't anything special or even memorable. I wouldn't say give it a miss, but I also wouldn't say go out of your way to watch it. Basically, this a decent movie to watch, when there is nothing else available.
