I'm shocked to see so much negativity and cynicism among the people reviewing this movie, about how it's childish and boring, I don't agree at all. The title 'Epic' is quite fitting imho.
It's a story about good vs evil, dark vs light, life vs death, what more do you want from a story? The voice acting is excellent and the animation is brilliant, in particular the articulation of the faces.
The music, character design and the way the scenery is set up is just phenomenal, or 'epic' if you will. If liking this movie means I'm childish than call me the biggest baby in the world, I don't care.
I totally loved this movie and the way it transported me to a world of wonder without all the ecological lectures and hidden agenda's, so fuck you!
