Review of Entrapment (1999) by Briain D — 27 Dec 2011
An average, run of the mill thriller. A lacklustre plot is compensated by some great chemistry between the leads but even this isn't enough to make Entrapment memorable. It takes the usual premise of a bank robbery and tries to make it more interesting by using the stunning backdrop of the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur. However, it doesn't succeed.
Despite this, Entrapment is a watchable picture. If you've nothing better to do, by all means watch it. But it does not come recommended!
