Review of Enter the Dragon (1973) by Daniel U — 27 Oct 2014
The absolute granddaddy of martial arts films, Enter The Dragon is the template for complete kick ass action.
It also helps to have Bruce Lee, the film's charismatic lead, in control alongside John Saxon and Jim Kelly on a mission to establish bad boy Mr Han Man's activities on his island fortress.
Suffice to say a lot of bones get broken, a lot of sneaking around goes belly up, and one man's idea of 'one' is everyone else's idea of many when picking from a line up.
This was Bruce Lee's swan song - in his last complete film - escalating the genre into a greater level of public consciousness.
