Review of Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room (2005) by Aaron T — 28 Dec 2007
Brilliant documentary; and one that indicates the best way to make a documentary. It stays quite impartial, stating facts and allowing various talking heads their chance to speak, it keeps things pacey and interesting, matches emotion with intelligence and documents a fascinating and unbelieveable subject.
Also having songs by Tom Waits, Dusty Springfield and The Cradigans in the film doesn't hurt one bit.
