Review of Enemy at the Gates (2001) by Bjorn K — 21 Nov 2009
The best sniper of russia and germany created the best shooting drama of world war II. every sniping scene should never be missed as it push you at the edge of your seat. I would vote this movie as the best picture, though it never won or being nominated.
the setting is perfectly world war II stalingrad. I dont know if the movie is historically accurate, but it did gave me a milligram of adrenaline. ed harris as major konig delivered a scourging sniping talent to vasily especially to ron perlman.
4 stars.
