Review of Enemy at the Gates (2001) by Braden W — 02 Aug 2010
Just a bad movie overall. The story is boring, the acting is bad (at least try to create accents for the appropriate countryman you are playing, hardly any of the actors stray from their usual dialect) and its much too long.
The effects and action scenes aren't bad, but they're too few and far between to keep interest. The direction is also fairly shabby. It's just one of plenty modern day historic action flicks that has great potential and sells itself short.
