Review of Enduring Love (2004) by Al M — 28 Aug 2007
Average thriller: passes an evening reasonably well but should not be remembered as a particularly enduring piece of cinema. Daniel Craig does a decent job of the lead, mainly because he's Daniel Craig and he's a legend, but you can see Rhys Ifans struggling with a not-very-good script.
The hot air balloon thing is at least original and sets it apart from other paint-by-numbers thrillers. Oh, and Bill Nighy has a good minor part. Watch for fun, but don't expect a classic.
