Review of Enduring Love (2004) by Andrew D — 09 Jun 2010
A dramatic thriller in the vein of Hitchcock from the writer of Atonement and The Good Son. It opens with a breathtaking, beautifully shot scene. The performances are excellent, especially from Daniel Craig and Rhys Ifans. The score is unusual and fascinating. Unfortunately the initially intriguing story slows down and by the end becomes straightforward and devoid of mystery. It could also be seen as homophobic.
7.5/10.
