Review of Endless Love (2014) by Toren P — 09 Mar 2014
Oh, it feels endless, alright. As in, if you've been plopped in that theater seat by your girlfriend, you'll turn to the nearest dude sitting by you about fifteen minutes in and say, "I don't think I can take this anymore.
" Whereas the movie mentioned above is a remake that surpassed the original, this is an example of how to make the remake worse. If Hollywood keeps coming up with these cliched, melodramatic sob stories on their own, than Nicholas Sparks will find himself out of a job.
Even in the trailer, one would ask, "Is there much of a plot here at all?" Answer: not really. I'm gonna say something that may irritate the teenage girl audience a bit, but's it's painfully true: Alex Pettyfer can't act.
There are some decent performances from the supporting cast, but that's really the only thing worth noting here. Please skip this. This is some BULLSHIT!
