Review of End of Watch (2012) by Chad B — 15 Jun 2013
With the perfect mix of drama and comedy, End of Watch does what most cop movies these days don't. Create believable and likeable characters. Gyllenhaal and Peña work wondrously together making you truly believe their friendship and their love for one another.
The only thing that holds this movie back is the ending. The last 20 minutes of the movie just felt too unrealistic in a movie that prides itself on it's realism. The ending aside, End of Watch is one of the best cop movies I have ever seen.
