I didn't know what to expect with this film. But overall it does what it intended to do really well. It's only downfall was its obvious inevitability as the end approaches and at nearly 2 hours felt a tad too long.
Both partnering actors had a decent 'buddy cop' vibe about them that gave some lighthearted moments to an otherwise grounded and bleak film.
