Review of End of Watch (2012) by Thomas M — 10 Dec 2018
Showcasing the grim, nitty-gritty realities of work as policemen in a unique documentary style, this film strikes an incredible balance between a buddy-cop tone and a raw narrative of the burdensome tasks of police officers.
From the captivating performances of Gyllenhaal and Peña that developed emotional connections with the audience, to the distinctively exceptional cinematography and editing, I was left with an even deeper appreciation for our men and women in blue.
