Review of End of Days (1999) by Roger H — 21 Nov 2009
An Arnie film with bite and a fairly involving screenplay. It is Gabriel Bryne's sneering as the human form of the antichrist that provides the film with its best moments and Arnie as always is unstoppable, including in his dialogue - "You are a f**king choir boy!" The pre-Millennium angst was at its peak upon the film's November release in 1999 and ten years on it holds up fairly well when you compare it to some of the crass Arnie actioners in his back catalogue.
Leave your brain at the door and you might enjoy this.
