A romantic princess fairy-tale with a modern twist in Disney's 'Enchanted', and a surprisingly funny and clever one at that.

The movie starts off in the animated world, where we see a princess named Giselle (Amy Adams) who dreams to meet a handsome man and marry him one day. She does come across her dream man, a prince who goes by the name Prince Edward (James Marsden) and they plan to get married there and then.

Although things don't go according to plan for Giselle and Edward as the evil Queen Narissa (Susan Sarandon) banishes Giselle to the real, non-animated world, where she is left lost and tries to find her way back home.

During her journey, Giselle comes across a man named Robert (Patrick Dempsey), who reluctantly helps Giselle try and get back to where she needs to go, despite his cynicism and lack of understanding where she truly comes from. As she stays over, chaos ensues Robert's life as many other people from the animated world end up entering the real world, and looking for Giselle, Robert ends up having to take all these matters into his own hands.

The movie is fun, energetic and Adams is endearing in the princess role. It is a wild ride for any Disney, fairy-tale fan as there are a lot of nods to classic Disney films such as; 'The Little Mermaid' (1989) and 'Cinderella' (1950). It's great for all the family to love. If you're a Disney fan, this is highly recommended.
