The animation and special effects were definitely bright and cleanly improved, plus I did like the cast involved and their chosen characters. But the characters were paper flat and the pacing had a clear divide between 'both worlds'.
Their excuse, "That's what fairytale world is like!" Original, up-to-date and extravagant, but for me felt like a launch platform for Disney's revival of 'classic' animations.
