It's very enjoyable at times and very groan-inducing at others. amy adams does a splendid job, patrick demspey and susan sarandon are both ok, but james marsden steals the show. the animation parts sucked, the chipmunk and the henchman and the fiancee were annoying and the songs are second rate broadway at best.
so far, this is a fantastic holiday movie season for kids and families and fan-boys. for everyone else.. not so much.
