Better than the teen movies that are being released today. nowadays we see teen movies that are superficial and just want a date for the prom. the teens in this film are fighting for something, to prevent a large corporation from buying the small independent record store. we don't see films like this from teen movies anymore.
The characters are overly dramatic but thats what its like being a teen anyways.
