Review of Empire Records (1995) by Jonathan S — 31 May 2010
I found this movie in the $.99 section at my local Hollywood Video store when I was 17. This was a time when I was out after school looking for a job. My dream job was to work in a music store, a dream job I never got. That's why this movie is my all-time favorite.
This film connected with me. Sure some of the events that happened in this film are a little farfetched, and some of the acting was a little bland, but it gave me that "feel good" feeling after watching it, which it still does to this day. Not to mention, the soundtrack is fantastic!
