A beautifully shot.... MESS.
I hold Jean Reno as one of my favourite actors and I really wanted to like this. It was almost completely incomprehesible.
My comprehension of French is extremely limited.... but it's enough to know that the film was poorly translated in "subtitled" mode... and equally horrible in the "english dubbed" mode.
There were some fantastic locations and sets and Reno hands in a great performance... but the plot mixes too many varying elements and styles to make any sense at all...
Avoid...
