Review of Emo: The Musical (2016) by Fiona R — 15 Jan 2017

As a musical lover I'm pretty difficult to please. I want an engaging story, great music and it's always good if the writer has something to say. Emo the Musical delivers on all fronts. From the very opening scene I was hooked and thoroughly enjoyed the hour and a half journey with these likeable, sometimes unlikeable but certainly interesting characters.

You don't forget what it's like to be a teenager and even as the years' pass and times change it's still all about trying to fit in and learning who you are. If you get the chance to see this film do! If not, then chase it down.

The songs are so catchy! I was humming them for days.
