Review of Elysium (2013) by Matt B — 30 May 2015
There a lot of good things about this film. The look of its characters and effects, the cast, cinematography, and action sequences. But the one thing about it that just about ruins all of that is its story.
It's garbage. It's just another recycled story that can be found in any science fiction film. Plain an simple. It awful too look at a film that has the potential to be something epic--maybe even Star Wars epic--that is ruined by becoming something cliche.
