Review of Elysium (2013) by Nosap I — 21 Aug 2014
Brilliant film with a great sociopolitical message for the atomistic elite in America. Interestingly the answer to all Global ills, according to the ending of this story, is to implement universal public healthcare, akin to the UK NHS.
Politics aside Max as the bad boy done good, is a superbly complex character reflecting a little of all of us, drives empathy into the story and you really care about him, amidst the violence. As usual with a great story, three stereotypical excellent baddies delivered in each case, in real style.
